As a note, Kurow doesn't really give his Pokémon the... traditional kind of nicknames. Males are referred to as some kind of descriptor when needed, plus 'boy' or 'dude', while females are referred to similarly, but with 'girl' or 'dudette' (less often) instead. ...Or at least, that's what he'll default to.

Except his Growlithe. She's pretty consistently "Girl".

Also yes, he tends to ride his Growlithe around. This is canon, people.

She's steadfast in her ways, and when unwanted change threatens her routine, she endures the storm and usually comes out as the victor in the contest of stubbornness. She'd make a good queen of a hive, should she ever form one.

On the other hand, she gets lonely easily, and will seek out company if it doesn't come to her.
