Dude, it is so totally sweet that they've got a Center down here!

[Yeah, you know that Pokémon Center that's right by the entrance to Union Cave? A certain moonkid is there tonight. Holding onto a Wooper whose expression makes it clear that he is... not all there in the head.

"Woo pa~ah..."]

Like, it's such a great spot for it. Travelin' for almost a week leaves a dude tired, y'know? But since this is here, we can all rest here for the night and set out for that cave nice and fresh tomorrow!

Not that Girl and me and the rest can't handle a little cave, of course. But being well-prepared beforehand never hurt!

That is handy, isn't it? I haven't been down there, but a friend described the convenient location.

I was a little hesitant to tackle the cave myself, I confess... What sort of things did you do to prepare?

Nothin' special. Made sure I've got enough food and supplies and stuff to last, but like, it's just another cave.

Oh? I'm afraid I haven't ventured into any of them, so, I wasn't sure what that might involve, in terms of how long it takes, or what you might run into...

It really ain't that hard. All you really need to do is make sure you've got enough food to last, plus some medicine in case things get rough. A cave like this one's gotta be a few days at most.

'Course, I used to do some runnin' around caves back home, so like, I've got some experience.

-and it shouldn't take more like a week to make it through.. Or, is it more like a month, including the forest after?

I'm afraid I don't know much about either... May I ask how you're familiar with cave journeys, though?

Depends how far you're lookin' to go. I'm mostly just guessin' based on the map right now, though.

Me an' Dude used to explore caves all the time, hunting demons!

-likely only to the other exit, but it's certainly hard to guess how far that might be within the maze of the cave.

But- It sounds like you've faced much larger adventures, in that case!

Definitely! Johto's, like, real tame in comparison. We even faced the baddest demon there is!

And you, must have defeated it... What's it like, facing the types of battles here after something like that?

They're a lot less intense 'round here, that's for sure. Like, it's pretty sweet, how nobody has to risk their lives, y'know?

That is wonderful. I was very worried about battling at the start, honestly, because I was afraid of badly harming my Pokémon. But they recover and get back on their feet so fast!
